Questo primo evento è avvenuto sulla scalinata di Piazza di Spagna a Roma. L’obiettivo è stato quello di lanciare, da donna comune, un messaggio positivo ai bambini, ai giovani, a chi ancora ha del sentimento e dei valori da affermare.
Al centro della scalinata ho adagiato un drappo rosso a forma di cuore, nel suo nucleo ho deposto un “Bambinello” da me realizzato con materiale di rifiuto e una voce di un bambino da me registrata, (dopo aver effettuato dei provini nelle scuole) ha lanciato il seguente messaggio:
“Ciao! Sono Gesù Bambino!
Mi sono fatto fare con materiale di rifiuto:
retine per patate, per cipolle, per ricotta
per farvi riflettere ogni qualvolta gettate via qualcosa.
Pensate a che cosa ci si può fare!
Avete tanto da recuperare,
partite da qualcosa!
Partite dalla spazzatura perchè se imparerete di nuovo
ad apprezzare anche la spazzatura, imparerete a dare valore alle cose
e di conseguenza a voi stessi.
Fatela finita di buttarvi via con droga, alcool e cattivo sesso.
Quindi il messaggio è:
evitate di sporcare il mondo!
Evitate di sporcare le strade, le città, l’arte, lo sport, ma più ancora
evitate di sporcare voi stessi.
Rispettate il mondo!
Rispettate voi stessi!
Il mio amore per voi è sempre infinito
ma voi vi amate così come siete?”
Ho deciso poi con il materiale raccolto di creare un filmato (sottotitolato in lingua inglese, tradotto anche in francese e spagnolo) e di metterlo in rete per lanciare un ulteriore appello ai genitori e agli insegnanti, per aiutarmi ad amplificare la mia voce. Aiutate i vostri figli, i vostri allievi a realizzare un Bambinello, recitava l’appello, con materiale di rifiuto, bello o brutto, grande o piccolo che sia, l’importante è che lo portiate sulla scalinata di piazza di Spagna il 20 dicembre alle ore 12:00, per impegnarci a fare qualcosa di valido senza incolpare sempre solo tutto e tutti.
This first event took place on the staircase of Piazza di Spagna. The aim was to send a positive message to children, young people and to those who still have feelings and values to be affirmed.
In the middle of the staircase I laid a red drape down in the shape of a heart. At the centre I placed the Child Jesus made with waste material and a child’s voice recorded by me (after performing school auditions) has sent the following message:
Hi! I’m Jesus.
I’ve been created with waste materials: potato nets, onion nets, ricotta cheese nets to make you think whenever you throw away something. Think how many important things can be done with litter! You have a lot of catch up… begin with something! Begin with litter because if you learn to appreciate rubbish you’ll learn to give value to things and consequently to yourself. Stop damaging yourself with drugs, alcohol and one night stands. The message I want to give you is this: Avoid making the world dirty. Avoid making the streets, the cities, art, sports, but above all stop making yourself dirty. My love for you is endless, but do you love yourself just the way you are?
I decided then to make a movie with the collected material (subtitled in English, French and Spanish) and put it online to send a further appeal to parents and teachers in order to help me boost my message. The appeal went like this: Help your children, your students to create a Child Jesus with waste material. It could be big or small, good-looking or not it doesn’t matter. You should bring it on the staircase of Piazza di Spagna on December the 20th at 12 p.m. to commit ourselves to do something of value and not just always blaming everything and everyone.
